Paul Signac was a French-born painter, his full name was Paul Victor Jules Signache was born on the 11th of November 1863 and he died on the 15th of August 1935. He was Impressionist and he is remembered for his pastel and oil paintings. He wasn’t limited only to painting, he also made bronze sculptures and also prints. The interesting part about his work was that he used to paint dancers, most of his works illustrate people dancing. Paul Signac is known as one of the founders of Impressionism, he didn’t like the term Impressionism, he preferred that he be called a realist.
