Irises puzzle is made using a historical and world-famous painting. High-quality wooden puzzle with detailed and vivid artwork reproduction is sure to be lots of fun. Van Gogh began painting Irises in the span of seven days of entering the shelter, in May 1889, working from nature in the clinic garden. There is an absence of the great strain which is found in his later works. He referred to painting as "the lightning guide for my ailment" since he felt that he could hold himself back from going crazy by proceeding to paint. The artwork was presumably affected by Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints like a significant number of his works and those by different specialists of the time.
