Charles Demuth was an American-born painter who was born on the 8th of November 1883 and died on the 23rd of October 1935. He was a painter of the Precisionism movement. He graduated from Franklin & Marshall Academy before studying at Drexel University and at Philadelphia's Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. He later studied at Académie Colarossi and Académie Julian in Paris, where he became a part of the avant-garde art scene. His artworks are masterpieces, due to his work ethic. His work did a major influence on several generations of avant-garde artists.
