Paul Gauguin was a French Post-Impressionist who was born on the 7th of June 1848 and died on the 8th of May 1903. His work was only appreciated after he died. Nowadays Paul Gauguin is recognized for his unusual use of colors and Synthetic style that didn’t belong to Impressionism. He painted lots of people and landscapes in Fench Polynesia. His artworks and work technique were an inspiration for many following artists including Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse. He had a great relationship with Vincent Van Gogh and Theo Van Gogh. After he died a French art dealer Ambroise Vollard organized many exhibitions in Paris that made Paul Gauguin popular.
